If you are entitled to social compensation due to a recognized injury, you may receive medical treatment benefits, such as:
- Medical and dental treatment
- psychotherapy
- Supply of medication, dressings, and aids
- Home care and household help
- Hospital treatments
- Medical rehabilitation services.
If necessary, you can receive additional benefits, for example, special
psychotherapeutic services,
dental, oral surgery and orthodontic services
Special education services after the age of 18,

Services provided as part of inpatient treatment.
You can also receive assistive devices such as prostheses, orthopedic aids, or other supportive equipment. You will also receive instructions on how to use these devices, as well as services for their adjustment, repair, and replacement.
You can also receive a lump sum for exceptional wear and tear on clothing and linens.
If you do not have other coverage, such as health insurance, due to the injury, you can also receive benefits for health problems that were not directly caused by the damaging event.
If you are a relative, surviving relative, or close friend of a directly injured person, the following benefits may be available to you:
- Services during pregnancy and maternity
- Services for the prevention of diseases and their worsening, as well as for contraception, sterilization and abortion.
- Services for the assessment of health risks and early detection
- Services for the treatment of an illness
- Personal Budget benefits.
