Procedure

  • You can access the data online.
    • The joint register portal of the Länder is available online for viewing the partnership register.
    • There, you have the option to search specifically for registered partnerships by entering keywords.
    • You are downloading the document.
  • If you request the printout in person or in writing:
    • If you appear in person at the relevant registry court, you will receive the printout immediately.
    • If you request the printout in writing, you will receive a payment request.
    • The requested printout will be sent to you at the latest when the amount has been credited to the responsible registry court.
    • The extract can also be sent electronically to participants in electronic legal transactions. However, transmission via simple email is not possible.
    • The relevant registry court will provide you with further information.

You can immediately download a PDF document containing the desired content online.




A written or electronic application can take several weeks.
