Detailed description
A shipbuilding project is a ship that is not yet completed, that is under construction, for example in a shipyard.
A ship under construction can be legally registered and entered into the shipbuilding register. This might be the case, for example, if financing is secured by a ship mortgage or if the ship is to be sold at auction.
Once the ship is finished, it is no longer considered a shipbuilding project, but a ship. The completed ship can then be registered in the ship register.
Under certain conditions, you can inspect the shipbuilding register. You can obtain a copy from the shipbuilding register, with or without certification.
