Procedure
It is advisable that you contact the responsible authority before applying and find out whether a ban is an option in your case.
The information block is entered upon application. When submitting the application, you must present facts and make it credible why providing information could endanger your life, health, personal freedom or similar interests worthy of protection. The application can be submitted in writing or in person by appearing at the authority.
Your information will then be checked by the responsible authority. If this check shows that the relevant requirements are met, a two-year information block will be entered in the residents' register, which applies to all types of residents' register information provided to private individuals and non-public bodies.
The ban only applies to the apartment for which it was requested.
You can have the information block extended after the period has expired.
If you would like to have a registered information block deleted, please contact the Central Registration Office directly.
