Detailed description
Large quantities of hazardous substances are present in upper-class operating areas.
If a serious accident occurs – such as an explosion, a fire or the release of toxic substances – a quick and targeted response is required.
In order for firefighters, civil protection services and other emergency services to be able to act immediately in an emergency, they need all relevant information in advance.
If you carry out planned changes with potential relevance to a major accident in an upper-class operating area according to the Major Accident Ordinance, you must notify the responsible disaster control authority.
The information is used to update external alarm and hazard prevention plans and thus ensure coordinated emergency management – from evacuations to road closures.
