If you wish to cease operations that include an operating area within the meaning of the Major Accident Ordinance, the operating area or a facility within the operating area in accordance with the Major Accident Ordinance, you must report this.


If you have already submitted this information as part of a notification procedure, you do not need to submit this notification again.

Please note

You are committing an administrative offence if you do not report the cessation of operations that include an operating area, the operating area or a facility within the operating area in accordance with the Major Accident Ordinance, or if you do not report it correctly, completely, in the prescribed manner or in a timely manner.

Advertise the hiring at least one month in advance.

Procedure

  • You submit the complete notification in writing to the authority responsible for you.
  • The responsible authority will review your report and request further information from you if necessary.
