First issue of residence permit

Documents required

• Current national passport, if it is not already on file with the authorities
• Proof of income for the last 3 months or proof of receipt of benefits
• biometric passport photo in electronic form
  • There is a photo booth on site. You can have your passport photo taken there for €6.00. You will not receive a printed copy! Please note that the photo booth cannot take passport photos of infants or toddlers. For your infants or toddlers, please use the option of having passport photos taken at a photo studio. There, you will receive a QR code when the photos are taken, which you must bring with you when applying for your passport. Of course, you can also have photos of yourself created as a QR code at the photo studio.
• In case of change of residence or longer absence: current registration certificate
• If applicable: current residence permit document (for example, tolerated stay, residence permit)
