Submit a measurement report on continuous measurements of air pollutants at waste incineration and co-incineration plants

Detailed description

If you operate a waste incineration plant or a combustion plant that co-incinerates waste, you must continuously determine air pollutant emissions by measuring certain emissions.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You operate a waste incineration or waste co-incineration facility that requires a permit.
  • You have newly constructed the facility or made significant changes.
  • You have put the system into operation.

Documents required

  • Measurement report with all required information according to the Immission Control Ordinance (17th BImSchV).

Please note

  • If you transmit the measurement results to the competent authority by telemetry in an appropriate manner, you do not have to submit the annual report.
  • If you fail to have the measurements taken, do so incorrectly, incompletely, or not on time, you are committing an administrative offense, which can be punished with a fine.

Deadlines

Prepare a report on the results of continuous measurements for each calendar year and submit it by March 31 of the following year.

Procedure

  • They carry out the measurements continuously.
  • You prepare a measurement report.
  • You submit the measurement report to the responsible authority on time.
