Submit an annual report on emissions from large combustion plants, gas turbines and internal combustion engines that co-incinerate waste

Detailed description

As an operator, you must report the following information about your waste co-incineration plant, gas turbine or combustion engine plant to the competent authority:


1. the installed thermal output,


2. the type of combustion plant,


3. whether your facility is part of a refinery,


4. the date of commencement of operation and the date of the last significant modification of the combustion plant,


5. the total annual emissions,


6. the annual operating hours,


7. the total annual energy consumption,


8. if applicable, the sulphur content if you use domestic sulphur-containing solid fuels,


9. If applicable, the average number of operating hours per year if this number exceeds 1,500 for your system over the last 5 years

There are no special instructions.

Deadlines

They shall submit the report annually to the competent authority for each individual installation by 30 April of the following year.


The competent authority will forward your report to the Federal Environment Agency by 31 October of the year following the reporting year.

Procedure

  • They prepare an annual report containing the relevant information for each individual plant, taking into account the aggregation rules.
  • You submit the report to the responsible authority.
  • The responsible body will check your report for plausibility.
  • The responsible body will forward your report to the Federal Environment Agency.
  • The Federal Environment Agency forwards your report to the European Commission.
