You must be registered in the electoral register. If you have received a voting notification, you are registered there. Otherwise, please contact the election office of your local district office.

Please note
If you are eligible to vote and have not received a voting notification 3 weeks before election day, please contact the election office of your local district office immediately.
If you are registered in the electoral register, your responsible electoral office can issue you a substitute voting notification.
If you have received an election notification with incorrect information (for example, an incorrect address), please contact your responsible election office.
Since the list of eligible voters is a deduction from the population register, errors can only be corrected by updating the registration data.
If any information on your voting notification is incorrect, please contact the election office to correct the information.
Please bring your voting notification card with you to the polling station on election day. If you cannot bring it with you, you can still vote. In this case, you must present a valid proof of identity such as your ID card or passport
The election notification contains an application form that you can use to request postal voting documents.
Deadlines
Voting notifications must be sent to all eligible voters who are registered in the electoral register by 21 days before the election.
The voting notification will be sent no later than 3 weeks before election day. If you have not received a notification by this time, please contact your local election office.
The deadline for delivery for the federal election is February 2, 2025.
The deadline for delivery of ballots for the state election is February 9, 2025.
