Report Land Lease Agreement Completion

If you have entered into a land lease agreement, you must report this to the relevant authority.

Detailed description

As a lessor of agricultural land, you must report the conclusion of a land lease agreement to the responsible authority. You can also make the report as a lessee.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You have entered into a land lease agreement that
    • does not result in unhealthy distribution of land (in particular accumulation of land) or uneconomic fragmentation.
    • does not include an unreasonably high rental price.

Documents required

  • signed written land lease agreement in copy or
  • in the case of an oral land lease agreement: the substantive communication (written description of the facts)

Please note

If the competent authority finds during the examination that the land lease agreement does not meet the existing requirements, it can object to the land lease agreement and cancel it.

Deadlines

You must report the conclusion of the land lease agreement to the competent authority within one month of its conclusion.

Procedure

  • You report the conclusion of the land lease agreement to the responsible authority. You can submit the report by post or email.
  • The responsible authority examines the land lease agreement.

Processing time

The inspection by the responsible authority will take place within one month, with the option of extending it by a further month by means of a corresponding notice. If there are any complaints, these will be sent to you within this period.

Fees

There are no costs involved.
