Detailed description
Roads are used for the purpose of movement and transport. This is known as public use. If you want to use a road outside of public use, you need a special use permit. This can be, for example, for:
- a celebration
- a rally
- a cycling race
- a sporting event
- Film and television recordings
Who you apply to for the special use permit depends on where the special use is to take place. For country roads, the regional road construction authority is responsible, and for motorways, the relevant motorway company is responsible.
If you have already obtained an exemption and permission for further use, you do not need a special use permit.
The permit is granted to you temporarily or revocably and may be subject to conditions and requirements.
