Register additional people who work in the prostitution business

Do you operate a prostitution business and employ other people? Here you can find out how and where you need to register them.

Detailed description

If you, as the operator of a prostitution business, wish to employ new people in your business, you must notify the relevant authority. Persons performing the following tasks are subject to a background check; this also applies if the persons in question are employed by you through external companies:

  • Management and supervision
  • Compliance with house rules or house regulations,
  • Entrance control
  • Security

Following your registration, the responsible authority will check the reliability of the registered person. If the check is negative, the responsible authority can prohibit you from employing that person in your prostitution business.

Employees with other duties, such as bar staff and cleaning staff, must also be reported.

Attention: The notification of additional persons is only valid in the case of a corresponding ancillary condition (condition) to a permit according to Section 12 ProstSchG or if the responsible authority requires you to do so on the basis of another authorization basis.
