Prerequisites
- valid permit or corresponding application ID for an online application according to Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) for the operation of a prostitution business
- Note 1: From an administrative point of view, a simultaneous application for a permit under Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) and a deputy permit under Section 13 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) can be made.
- Note 2: The prerequisite for the granting of the deputy permit remains the granting of the permit according to Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG)
- Minimum age of 18 years for the person designated as a substitute
- In order for the report to be processed, the person to be reported must agree to the background check. See the application process for: “Background check of people working in the prostitution industry”
Documents required
- If applicable: Permission under Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) from the operator of the prostitution business
- First and last name of the person to be checked.
- Note 1: The person to be verified must complete the application process “Verification of the reliability of persons engaged in the prostitution industry”.
- Note 2: An existing permit pursuant to Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) or an application pursuant to Section 12 of the Prostitute Protection Act (ProstSchG) must have a link to the application for a proxy permit.
Please note
In order for the report to be processed, the person to be reported must agree to the reliability check and cooperate (see information in the Requirements module).
Deadlines
Before the prostitution business can be operated by a representative, you must have the appropriate permit. It is therefore necessary to submit an application in good time.
If the prostitution business is no longer operated by the person appointed as a representative, you must immediately report this to the relevant authority.
