If you require a certificate of competence for fumigation activities, you can apply for one from the competent authority.

Detailed description

If you want to carry out fumigations, you need a certificate of competence. You must apply for the certificate of competence from the responsible authority.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You are at least 18 years old
  • You have the necessary reliability to carry out the job safely
  • You have the necessary language skills to carry out the job safely

Documents required

  • Proof of suitable vocational training or comparable professional qualification
  • Certificate from a doctor who is authorized to use the field title “occupational medicine” or the additional title “company medicine”
  • Proof of specific expertise related to the activity (for example, through successful participation in a recognized specialist training course, proof of expertise in fumigation)
  • Official certificate of good conduct according to document type O

Deadlines

You must have the certificate of competence before you carry out fumigations for the first time.

Procedure

  • You submit your written application along with the necessary documents.
  • Your application will be reviewed. Any missing documents or information will be requested from you.
  • If your application is successfully reviewed, the certificate of competence will be sent to you by post.
