Prerequisites
- They are able to assess the suitability of technical or manual training.
- They carry out the tests impartially and independently.
- They plan and structure the exams in such a way that the specified minimum technical requirements are covered.
- They establish procedures for reporting and keep records of the individual and overall results of the audit.
- They ensure that the commissioned auditors are familiar with the relevant test methods and test documents and have the appropriate competence in the area to be tested.
- They ensure that the devices, tools and materials required for the practical examinations are available.
Documents required
With the application you submit information about the examiners you have commissioned, the examination procedure and the content of the certificates.
If necessary, the competent authority may request further documents from you:
- Training documents of future lecturers,
- Contents of the course,
- Schedule for the implementation of the course,
- Examination regulations,
- Procedural rules for issuing certificates of competence,
- List of equipment intended for training,
- Sample of an exam paper,
- Questionnaire for the theoretical exam,
- Sample certificate of competence,
- Description of the practical exam,
- Information on the spatial facilities of the training and further education facility
Please note
The testing and certification body carries out tests and issues certificates of expertise that are required for certain activities (according to the Chemicals Climate Protection Ordinance). These include in particular:
- Leakage control, gas recovery, installation, repair, servicing, maintenance or decommissioning
- from facilities containing fluorinated greenhouse gases
Certification bodies can also act as examination bodies.

You need recognition as a testing and certification body before you carry out tests or issue certificates.
