They may receive aid for measures to prevent, control, monitor and eradicate animal diseases in sheep and goats.

Detailed description

They may apply for aid for measures for the early detection and prevention, control, monitoring and eradication of animal diseases and epidemic animal diseases or zoonoses in sheep and goats.


You will receive the subsidies as voluntary services for laboratory diagnostic tests for brucellosis and for official animal identification and the associated advice. You can also apply for subsidies for the removal and disposal of fallen stock.

Prerequisites

You have registered the animals correctly. You have registered new animals subsequently.


You have paid your contributions to the Hamburg Animal Disease Fund on time.

Documents required

  • Evidence of the number and results of genotyping
  • Accounting for the genotyping performed
  • Declaration of participation in the restructuring proceedings and
  • Recognition of stocks

The applicable aid directive regulates the measures for which aid is granted, as well as the further conditions for the payment of aid and the amount of the grants.

The application must be submitted before the start of the measure.

Procedure

  • Use the form provided by the competent authority to apply for aid and submit it with the required documents.
  • The responsible authority will examine your application and your documents. If necessary, it will request further documents or information from you.
  • The competent authority will decide on your application. The competent authority will calculate the amount of aid if necessary.
  • You will receive a notification from the responsible authority.
  • For the laboratory diagnostic tests provided by the State Laboratory Institute for Hygiene and Environment, data is exchanged between the responsible body and the Institute for Hygiene and Environment. The aid is paid as a subsidy to the service provider commissioned to carry out the measure. Aid for animal losses is granted as a subsidy directly to you as the aid recipient.
