Apply for approval for food chemical testing

Prerequisites

For practical vocational training:

• You have a university degree in food chemistry with completion of the first state examination or
• You have a master's or diploma degree in food chemistry.

For the second state examination:

• You have a university degree in food chemistry with completion of the first state examination or
• You have a master's or diploma degree in the field of food chemistry, as well as proof of completion of practical training.

Documents required

• Proof of identity
• The training certificates to be acquired in accordance with Annex 2 of the Training and Examination Regulations for state-certified food chemists during practical training

Deadlines

Your application for admission must be received by the competent authority by 31 January or 31 July exclusively via the online service.

Procedure

• You submit your application, along with the necessary documents, to the responsible authority exclusively via the provided online service.
• The responsible authority will examine your application and request any missing documents or information from you.
• After successfully completing the examination, the responsible body will confirm your admission to the examination in writing.
