Medical examination Apply for admission

Prerequisites

First part of the exam

• You have already studied medicine for two years and successfully completed all required coursework and one elective subject.
• You have completed first aid training.
• You have completed 3 months of nursing service.

Second part of the examination

• After passing the first part of the examination, you studied medicine for another three years and completed all required coursework.
• You have completed a 4-month internship.

Third Section

• After passing the second part of the examination, you studied medicine for another year and completed all required coursework.
• You have successfully completed practical training in the subjects of “Internal Medicine,” “Surgery,” and your elective subject.

Documents required

• birth certificate
• If applicable: marriage certificate
• Study record or the document used at the respective university to prove the period of study

When registering for the first part of the medical examination, additionally:

• Proof of university entrance qualification
• for certificates from abroad: recognition certificate
• Certificate(s) of successful participation in the required courses,
• Proof of participation in first aid training
• Proof of completion of nursing service

When registering for the second part of the medical examination, additionally:

• Certificate(s) of successful participation in the required courses
• Proof of performance
• Proof of completion of the internship
• Certificate of passing the 1st part of the medical examination

When registering for the third part of the medical examination, additionally:

• Certificate of the practical year
• Certificate of passing the 2nd section of the medical examination

Your application for admission must be received by the competent authority by 10 January or 10 June.

Procedure

• You submit your application along with the necessary documents to the responsible authority via the provided online service.
• The responsible authority will examine your application and request any missing documents or information from you.
• As soon as all necessary documents are received and the application is complete, you will receive confirmation of completeness via the service mailbox.
