Apply for early start of discharge of wastewater into private wastewater treatment plants

If you want to discharge commercial wastewater into a private wastewater plant or sewer system, you need a permit. Under certain conditions, the competent authority may allow you to start discharging before you have received approval.

Detailed description

If you want to discharge commercial wastewater into a private wastewater system, you need a permit. If you cannot or do not want to wait until approval is granted, the responsible authority can allow your initiation to begin earlier. In order to receive approval and be able to begin initiation early, you must submit an application to the responsible authority.

 

Information

Prerequisites

You may be granted approval for early induction if:

  • You have already requested approval for the initiation
  • a decision can be expected in your favor,
  • There is a demonstrable public interest or a legitimate interest on your part in the early start

You must undertake to compensate for any damage caused by the discharge up to the decision and, if the discharge is not approved, to restore the previous condition.

Procedure

  • You submit an application and submit it, including the necessary documents, to the responsible authority.
  • The responsible office will check your application and, if necessary, request any missing documents from you.
  • If all factual and legal requirements are met, the responsible authority will approve the early start of your wastewater discharge.
  • You will receive a written acceptance letter from the responsible office.
  • You pay the administration fee.
