As a commercial person or company, you can register for events such as:

Measure,
exhibitions
folk festivals and
markets

request participation.

The following applies to the application:

You can apply for a confirmation of participation according to the trade regulations.
Organizers can restrict participation in markets in terms of the type and purpose of the market.
When participating in these markets, you are exempt from the provisions of the Shop Opening Act, the Act on Sundays, Public Holidays, Memorial Days and Days of Mourning, the Working Hours Act and the Industrial Code.
If you belong to the group of participants of a fixed event, you are entitled to participate if there are no objective reasons (material defect) to the contrary. Whether or not you belong to this group is determined by the corresponding determination.

If the public administration acts as an organiser, the freedom of the market also applies. However, municipal law (public institution) can impose restrictions under public law on the participants. Through a market organization, which imposes public-law obligations on the market-supplying persons.

There is no statutory application deadline. As a rule, applications must be submitted at least 8 weeks before the start of the event to ensure that the application is processed on time. However, the application periods are longer for some events.

After the registration period has expired, you can enter a replacement procedure in order to maintain the chance of a stand space.

In order to be able to attend an event, you must apply to attend. You can submit this application using an offline form or online using the online service.

If you want to apply for participation using the offline form:

Open the relevant PDF form
Fill out the application.
Submit the requested evidence.
Send the application to the competent authority by e-mail or by post.
You will receive a confirmation of receipt from the competent authority.
In the case of stand space approval, you will be notified before the start of the event.
If you are rejected, you will receive a rejection letter from the responsible authority
You will receive a fee notice

If you want to apply to attend an event via the online service:

You call up the online service.
You fill out the application form.
For quick processing by the authorities, upload all the necessary evidence.
Your application will be checked by the competent authority.
If you have any questions, the competent authority will contact you.
You will receive a confirmation of receipt from the competent authority by post and/or email.
In the case of stand space approval, you will be informed about 2 months before the start of the event.
In the event of a rejection, you will receive a rejection letter from the responsible authority by post.
You will receive a fee notification by post.
