Detailed description

If you want to take on responsibility for the tasks of a weapons manufacturer or dealer as a representative, or if you want to take on the management of a branch or a dependent branch office in the weapons manufacturing or weapons trading business, you need a special permit. To obtain this permit, you must submit an application to the competent authority at the location of the respective business.

  • Copy of valid identification document (e.g. identity card or passport)
  • If applicable: Residence permit with entitlement to self-employment
  • Proof of expertise
  • Tax clearance certificate
  • If applicable: Commercial register extract

If you are applying for a legal entity, such as a GmbH, KG or OHG, you must submit the above-mentioned documents (except personal documents) for both the legal entity and each natural person authorized to represent it, such as the management

Deadlines

The permit expires if the activity is not started within one year of being granted or is not carried out for one year. Extension of the deadline is possible for special reasons.
