Prerequisites
- They operate a cremation facility.
- They have installed suitable measuring devices.
- They have the measuring devices checked and calibrated regularly.
- You carry out the continuous measurements according to the regulations
- You have created a measurement report.
- The measurement report contains the hourly, averaged values of the measurements.

Please note
In terms of content, the continuous measurements should be based on the circular "Uniform Federal Practice for Monitoring Emissions" of the Federal Environment Ministry and the requirements for evaluation systems contained therein.
The reports on the functional tests and calibrations of the measuring instruments for continuous measurements must comply with the requirements of the VDI 3950 Part 2 guideline.
If you do not comply with the reporting obligation, do not do so correctly or do not do so on time, you are committing an administrative offence. Administrative offence proceedings will be initiated against you.
This is purely a notification by you. No notice will be issued by the authorities.
This administrative service does not apply to animal crematoria.
Deadlines
They shall submit the measurement report on the continuous measurements of emissions from cremation facilities to the competent air pollution control authority within three months of the end of each calendar year.
You must keep the records of the measuring devices for 5 years.
