Residential register, update

  •

Detailed description

The register is updated by notifying other authorities (e.g. registration authorities, registry offices, courts). All communications from these authorities to the Hamburg residents' register are always based on a concrete, legal basis. The majority of this is the automated, electronic exchange of data between registration authorities in different federal states, for example if a person or family moves or has a main or secondary residence in the affected federal states. The different case and life situations often require personal contact between the foreign authority and the resident office responsible for the whole of Hamburg - resident register of the Harburg district office.
