Detailed description

Manure, slurry and silage seepage systems (JGS systems) are systems for dealing with water-polluting substances, such as storing and filling these substances. The manure, slurry and silage seepage systems include, among other things, containers, collection pits, solid manure storage, silos, slurry cellars and slurry channels, filling areas with the associated pipelines and their safety devices.

If you have a
  • System for storing silage leachate with a volume of more than 25 cubic meters,
  • other manure, slurry and silage seepage plant with a total volume of more than 500 cubic meters
  • System for storing solid manure or silage with a volume of more than 1,000 cubic meters
If you want to build, shut down or make significant changes, you must notify the responsible authority in advance.

Documents required

The documents required depend on the type of system being operated. They will be named during the online reporting process. There are documents included

  • to the operator,
  • to the location,
  • to delimit the facility,
  • about the water-polluting substances handled in the facility,
  • to the containers,
  • to the safety devices,
  • to the pipelines
  • to building regulatory proof of usability that is important for the safety of the system,
necessary.

Please note

The online service is only intended for commercial operations with manure, slurry or silage seepage systems.

Deadlines

The notification must be submitted at least 6 weeks before commissioning, decommissioning or carrying out significant changes to the system.

Procedure

  • You report the change of ownership in writing to the responsible authority or use the online service.
  • The responsible authority will check your report and, if necessary, request any missing information or documents.
  • Your report will be saved with the responsible authority.

Processing time

The processing time depends on the quality and scope of the documents submitted.

Fees

The costs for the official examination of the advertisement are 75 - 1,500 EUR, depending on the type and scope of the advertisement.
