If you, as an employer, have drawn up a maintenance concept that permanently ensures that your systems in potentially explosive areas are in a safe condition, regular inspections in accordance with the Industrial Safety Ordinance can be dispensed with.

If you, as an employer, have drawn up a maintenance concept that permanently ensures that your systems in potentially explosive areas are in a safe condition, you can dispense with regular inspections in accordance with the Industrial Safety Ordinance. A testing organization evaluates the effectiveness of your maintenance concept. You must document all work and measures on the system as part of this maintenance concept. The responsible body will clarify any discrepancies between you, as the employer, and the testing organization that evaluates the maintenance concept.

There are disagreements between you as the employer and the auditing organization that assessed the maintenance concept.

You submit your informal report of the discrepancies with the required documents to the responsible authority.

The responsible body will examine your request and your documents, in particular your maintenance concept and the test certificate from the testing organization. If necessary, the responsible body will request further documents or information from you or the testing organization.

The responsible authority will clarify the discrepancies.
