If you keep cattle, pigs, sheep, goats or horses, you must report your livestock to the Tierseuchenkasse Hamburg immediately. In the future, the current number of animals will be surveyed annually by the animal disease fund on the key date of March 1st.

Detailed description

According to Section 14 of the Implementing Act for the Animal Health Act (HmbAGTierGesG), you are obliged to report your animal population to the Animal Disease Fund. In addition, the current animal population is annually on March 1st. requested from you by the official survey. Changes during the year must be reported. The Tierseuchenkasse participates in the financing of subsidies that are granted to you by the city to combat animal diseases.

Procedure

According to the Hamburg Implementation Act for the Animal Health Act, you are obliged to keep your livestock as of March 1st. to be reported to the Animal Disease Fund every year. You will be asked to do this by post with the official survey of animal populations. Your reporting period is 14 days.
If more animals are added to your stock after the official survey, you are also obliged to report these animals if there are more than 10% but at least 5 animals.
