Merge parcels

You want to merge several parcels together?

Then you can place an order for it.

Detailed description

You want to merge a parcel of land with other parcels of land to form a new, independent parcel of land.

To do this, you must submit an informal written order to the State Office for Geoinformation and Surveying (LGV) or to a publicly appointed surveying engineer (ÖbVI).

The LGV submits a merger request to the responsible land registry office, asking for approval.

The parcels of land to be merged must form an economic unit on site and must be registered under a single consecutive number in the land register. If this is not the case, a consolidation must first take place. The land registry office is responsible for this.

Information

Prerequisites

  • The parcels are your property.
  • If you do not own the land, you will need a power of attorney from the owner.
  • If you co-own a parcel of land, everyone must agree to the merger.

  • An order can only be placed in written form.
