You can receive supplementary rehabilitation services in addition to medical rehabilitation. You can also receive supplementary rehabilitation services without having previously undergone rehabilitation. Your health insurance provider will provide you with supplementary rehabilitation services.

Additional services include, for example:
- Patient education for chronically ill patients, such as:
- outpatient asthma training,
- Obesity education programs,
- Rehabilitation sports and functional training,
- socio-medical aftercare measures for chronically ill or seriously ill children and adolescents.
- The services must be medically necessary and prescribed by a doctor.
