Detailed description

The integration grant is intended to ease your transition into the job market and create incentives to leave unemployment. It is designed to provide financial support if your initial income is no higher, or only slightly higher, than your previous basic income support payments.

The start-up grant is a subsidy that is not counted towards your other benefits. The amount you receive depends, for example, on how long you were unemployed and how many people live in your household. Therefore, the amount of the start-up grant varies from case to case. Sometimes the job center also pays a lump sum.
