Detailed description
Have you been unemployed for a long time, perhaps suffering from health problems, and would like to work again? A job opportunity gives you the opportunity to do something that prepares you for employment on the labor market.
The responsible authority can assign you a job opportunity upon your application. Job opportunities are carried out by a program provider. This can be, for example, an educational provider, a charitable and public welfare-oriented company, or even a non-profit association. The activities are competition-neutral and in the public interest.
You will then receive additional expense compensation in addition to your citizen's allowance. Your working hours are determined by the responsible authority. The amount of your additional expense compensation is based on the actual expenses you incur as a result of participating in the work opportunity, for example additional travel costs or work clothing. You will only receive additional expense compensation for hours in which you actually carried out work as part of the work opportunity, i.e. not for periods of illness, vacation days, weekends and public holidays.
