Detailed description

When taking over an existing system for handling water-polluting substances, you as the new operator of the system are obliged to report this change of operator to the responsible authority. By submitting the notification, you provide the responsible authority with information about the previous and new operators, the owner and the takeover of the system. The obligation to report does not apply to heating oil consumer systems.

Prerequisites

You take over the operation of a system for dealing with water-polluting substances.

Contracts or agreements proving the change of operator

Please note

As a new operator, you are responsible for reporting this. When reporting the change of operator, you must provide both your data and the data of the previous operator. You must provide proof of the change of operator.

Deadlines

The notification must be made at least six weeks before the change of operator takes effect.

Procedure

  • You report the change of ownership in writing to the responsible authority or use the online service.
  • Attach documents to your notification that prove the change of ownership.
  • You will receive confirmation of receipt of your ad
  • The responsible authority will check your documents for completeness and, if necessary, request any missing information or documents.
  • Your report will be saved with the responsible authority

Processing time

It will take you about 10 minutes to file the complaint. The processing time in the responsible authority depends on the type and scope of the individual case.
