If you keep vertebrates of specially protected species, you must report the start of keeping them, the termination of keeping them or changes to the population to the responsible authority.

Please note

The specially protected species include the majority of exotic animal species, such as parrot birds, turtles, snakes, lizard species such as day geckos and chameleons, but also numerous native species and all European songbird species.
