Detailed description

A certificate of no objection officially confirms that there are no concerns regarding explosives law concerning you, in particular regarding your reliability and personal suitability to participate in a course that imparts the expertise to handle explosive substances.


Without this certificate, you are generally not permitted to participate in such specialist training courses.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • They are personally suitable.
    • You are personally suitable if you have no limitations, for example in your mental and physical health or due to drug or alcohol addiction.
  • You have reached the age of 21.

Documents required

  • Identity card or passport
  • If applicable, a certificate from a doctor confirming physical fitness for the intended activity.
  • If you live abroad, you will also need a certificate of good conduct from that country.

Deadlines

Submit your application in good time, at least 3 months before your intended participation in a course.




The certificate of no objection is valid for one year.

Procedure

  • You fill out the application form completely and send it, along with the required documents, to the responsible authority. Alternatively, you can submit the application online.
  • The responsible authority will review your application and documents. If necessary, they will request further documents or information from you.
  • The relevant authority will decide on your application.
  • You will receive a notification.
  • You will receive a fee notice.
  • They pay the fees.

Processing time

The processing usually takes 6 to 8 weeks.
