Indicate a change in the location, condition or operation of a wastewater treatment plantDocuments must be submitted that demonstrate the nature, scope and effects of the intended change. The specific documents required depend on the type of system and the type of wastewater that is handled in the system. It is therefore recommended that you contact the responsible office in advance and ask for the documents required in your specific case.
The obligation to report applies to independently operated industrial wastewater treatment plants that are not ancillary facilities within the meaning of Section 1 Paragraph 2 No. 2 of the 4th BImSchV. Furthermore, the wastewater must come from one or more plants in accordance with the Industrial Emissions Directive (IE-RL) and not fall under the Municipal Wastewater Directive (91/271/EEC).
An existing water permit or indirect discharger permit may also need to be adjusted following changes to the system.
At least one month before the change is to start.
The processing time depends on the quality and scope of the applications and documents submitted.

Objections to the decision can be filed within one month of notification.
