Apply for approval as a specialist for periodic inspection of separator systems

If you, as a qualified person, want to perform recurring inspections of separator systems, you will need a permit. Here you can find information about the process, costs, duration, and required documentation.

Detailed description

Wastewater treatment plants, such as separator plants, must be inspected regularly as part of a general inspection.


If you wish to carry out such tests, you will need to be approved as a qualified person by the relevant authority.

 

Information

Prerequisites

  • You have the necessary reliability and diligence to practice your profession.
  • There is no direct connection between the intended audit activity and other services.
  • You have completed a degree in engineering or natural sciences in a field relevant to the activity you are undertaking or
  • You have a degree recognized as equivalent or
  • You have a specialist vocational training and many years of professional experience.

Documents required

  • Description of your education and professional career
  • Evidence of your expertise
  • Evidence of your professional experience
  • Proof of existing professional or business liability insurance
  • If applicable: Existing registration in another federal state

Depending on the circumstances of the individual case, the responsible authority may request further documents from you.

  • The responsible authority will examine your application and, if necessary, request any missing documents or information from you.
