View cattle shows and cattle markets

Prerequisites

• It must be one of the following livestock events:
  • cattle shows
  • livestock markets
  • cattle shows
  • Competitions with cattle
  • events of a similar nature
• The animals must be assignable under the category livestock. Livestock includes the animal species specified in Section 2 No. 4 of the Animal Health Act.
• For the livestock event, the provisions of § 3 (1) Livestock Traffic Ordinance apply.

Procedure

The notification can be made informally in written or electronic form or via the online service.

If you want to place the ad informally:

• Describe your request and provide all necessary information:
  • kind of event
• Send the notification to the competent authority by e-mail or by post.
• Your notification will be received and processed by the competent authority.
• The competent authority will contact you if you have any questions or need to make improvements to the notification.
• A separate permit is not required. If the authority does not contact you, you can hold the event.
• You will be notified in the event of a restriction or ban.

If you want to place the advertisement via the online service:

• You fill out the notification form
• For quick processing by the authorities, upload all the necessary evidence.
• Your notification will be accepted by the competent authority.
• The remaining steps correspond to the written procedure
