Voluntary Ecological Year General Information

• if applicable: certificates of previous internships, voluntary work, etc.

Deadlines

You usually complete the Voluntary Ecological Year from August 1st to July 31st of the following year.


There is no application deadline. If places are available, you can apply for these vacancies by the end of January of each year at the latest.

Procedure

• You can find out about the possible positions via the online application portal and select up to three suitable positions.
• The placement agency will review your application and, if necessary, invite you to an interview or trial work.
• You conclude a participation agreement with the sponsoring organization.
• You are completing your voluntary ecological year.
• After successful completion, you will receive a certificate of participation and, if applicable, a reference from your place of work

Processing time

The selection process usually lasts until July and there is certainly the possibility of a replacement being found by the end of January.
