waschecht.hamburg is keeping Hamburg's cultural scene visible and providing artists with a stage. Virtual audiences can enjoy shows from a variety of musical styles live on hamburg.de's Facebook and YouTube channels, so check in regularly to see what artists are coming up.
Libraries rock
Anyone who thinks Hamburg's public libraries are just for eBooks is missing out. Music fans with library cards can really get their money's worth with a wide range of listening options from classical to pop to perfect workout music, much of which can be streamed and in some cases downloaded via the Freegal Music and Naxos Music library platforms.
Ensemble Resonanz
Ensemble Resonanz presents plentiful content from its various projects on its virtual stage. You can watch and, above all, hear trailers, audio recordings, conversations and snippets from dramatic work as well as entire concert recordings. The highlight are the concert and film premieres in the live stream.
Elbphilharmonie
The Elbphilharmonie concert hall is bringing music to the masses in the times of corona with the motto #Elphibackhome with a comprehensive digital program of regular (live) streams, videos, articles and podcasts.
#unitedwestream: Hamburg's clubs live on
Hamburg's clubs have joined forces under #unitedwestream and, together with arteCONCERT, are offering livestreams for donations. The income goes to the participating clubs, whose existence is threatened by the ongoing COVID-19 public health crisis. A portion of the proceeds is also to be distributed to artists.
klub forward: keeping Hamburg's club scene alive
Hamburg is famous for its live music and club scene. klub forward is now providing a digital platform to keep this scene alive during corona times. Club kids can look forward to live streams of music from the various Hamburg club stages. Viewers can support their favorite clubs with donations and help ensure that the Hamburg club landscape remains colourful into the future. Those who do not want to donate to any specific club can transfer funds to the general donation account of the club foundation.
