Riding a bike is a great way to explore Hamburg! Sign up for StadtRAD Hamburg, the local city bike programme and hire a bike at one of the 120 service points around the city. The first 30 minutes are free of charge and after that your trip will cost €0.08 per minute or €12 per day. This means you could even ride for free all day ─ as long as you check your bike back in at any station within 30 minutes of each departure.
To sign up, you need a debit, credit or HVV customer card. Hamburg is a very cycle-friendly city, with many wide avenues, bicycle lanes and parks.
