The world's biggest triathlon takes place in Hamburg in July. From amateurs to pros, everybody can sign up for the races.
Depending on skill-level athletes can enter the following competitions: The Sprint (which spans a 0,5km swim, 20km bike ride and a 5km run) or the Olympic distance (1,5km/40km/10km). Team-minded athletes can choose to join the relay instead of mastering the distances on their own. Companies can sponsor a team of as many staff members as possible and compete for the Company Cup.
The course takes athletes literally through the Alster lakes and along many of Hamburg's most beautiful sites: the city centre with Town Hall, Landungsbrücken piers, Altona and Elbchaussee boulevard all lined with thousands of supporters.
Races start and end in the Jungfernstieg/Rathausmarkt area.
U1, U2, U3, S1, S2, S3 trains to Jungfernstieg
Please note that there will be road closures in operation for the duration of the event! Travelling by train or bike is highly recommended.
