Staying up for the Academy Awards isn’t for the faint of heart. After all, the show doesn’t really get started until after midnight here in Hamburg, and it can go well into the wee hours of the morning. But true film buffs won’t let a little time zone inconvenience stop them from watching the golden statues get handed out live.
Luckily, Hamburg’s Savoy cinema is hosting a screening to keep you well-caffeinated and in good company until (nearly) dawn. The event includes plenty of free coffee as well as the opportunity to purchase refreshments throughout the night. This event is likely to sell out, so be sure to reserve tickets ahead of time.
